In February 2023, total equities turnover value on the GPW Main Market was PLN 18.8 billion, representing a 33.3% decrease year on year, while Electronic Order Book turnover value decreased by 31.3% year on year to PLN 18.6 billion. Average daily Electronic Order Book equities turnover value stood at PLN 0.93 billion, a 31.3% decrease year on year. On the last trading day of February 2023, the WIG index closed at 60,181.40 points, representing a 1.6% decrease year on year.
Total February 2023 NewConnect equities turnover value decreased by 28.5% year on year to PLN 229.8 million, while Electronic Order Book equities turnover decreased by 31.7% year on year and stood at PLN 214.1 million.
Total February 2023 GlobalConnect equities turnover value was PLN 223,900.
Total February 2023 derivatives turnover volume was 911,100 contracts, representing a 26.9% decrease year on year. Index futures turnover volume decreased by 24.4% year on year to 578,900 contracts. Single-stock futures turnover volume decreased by 44.4% year on year to 115,500 contracts. Currency futures turnover volume decreased by 17.9% year on year to 198,300 contracts.
In February 2023, structured products turnover value decreased by 41.7% year on year to PLN 216.2 million. ETF turnover value decreased by 32.2% year on year to PLN 69.7 million.
At the end of February 2023, Catalyst listed non-Treasury bond value was PLN 92.9 billion, compared to PLN 97.5 billion at the end of February 2022. In February 2023, turnover value of bonds on Catalyst’s Electronic Order Book decreased by 38.7% year on year to PLN 444.8 million.
In February 2023, total TBSP bond turnover value was PLN 23.1 billion, compared to PLN 54.8 billion in February 2022, representing a 57.8% decrease year on year.
Total February 2023 electricity turnover volume was 9.4 TWh, representing a 39.6% decrease year on year, where spot transaction turnover volume increased by 83.0% year on year to 4.9 TWh and forward transaction turnover volume decreased by 65.0% year on year to 4.5 TWh.
Total February 2023 natural gas turnover volume was 12.6 TWh, representing a 9.7% decrease year on year, where spot transaction turnover volume increased by 0.5% year on year to 1.7 TWh and forward transaction turnover volume decreased by 11.1% year on year to 10.9 TWh.
Turnover volume of February 2023 spot transactions in property rights to certificates of origin, excluding rights to certificates of energy efficiency (“white certificates”), 2 was 1.7 TWh, representing a 2.2% decrease year on year.
In February 2023, turnover volume of property rights to certificates of origin of energy efficiency (“white certificates”) increased by 32.1% year on year to 6.1 ktoe 3 .
February 2023 turnover volume in Guarantees of Origin of electricity generated from renewable energy sources increased by 68.6% year on year to 2.5 TWh.
At the end of February 2023, the market capitalisation of 374 domestic companies listed on the Main Market was PLN 599.7 billion (EUR 127.1 billion), while the total market capitalisation of 418 domestic and foreign companies listed on the Main Market was PLN 1,316.0 billion (EUR 279.0 billion).
Shares of the company GENOMTEC (transfer from NewConnect) were newly listed on the Main Market in February 2023.
